My name is Rowan Polonski. Im an actor with Polish heritage from Great Britain.
There’s going to be a screening of a film im in, in New York, on sept 11th. It was shot in Poland last year and is called ‘Triumph of the Heart’. It tells the story of St Maximillian Kolbe, the heroic Polish priest that gave his life for another man who was condemed to death in an Auschwitz starvation cell.
We’d like to invite members of the New York Polish community to attend the screening. We would love to see you there as we feel the film has particular meaning and significance for Polish New Yorkers.
The film gets an official theatrical release on Sept 12th, however this particular pre-screening is a crowd funded one, set up by myself and another actor from the movie. We need to sell about 90 tickets to guarantee the screening. If we don’t achieve that then it won’t happen and you’ll get a refund.
