On September 9th, at the prestigious BAM – Fisher Theater, the Borough Round of the Talent is Timeless competition, organized annually by the NYC Department for the Aging, took place. This special event gives seniors from all over New York a chance to share their passion, creativity, and artistic spirit. Our Krakus Senior Center PSC, operating under The Polish & Slavic Center (PSC), was proudly represented by the talented Ola Watras. She performed a breathtaking rendition of River Flows in You on the piano, filling the hall with warmth and touching the hearts of the audience. Congratulations to all participants and winners! Each performance showed that talent and passion have no age, and music connects people across generations and borders. But for us – Dear Ola – you will always be our true champion, the best of the best! Your performance filled our hearts with pride, joy, and emotion. Thank you for representing our community with such grace and artistry, and for showing that the beauty of music knows no limits. We are deeply grateful and so happy to have such an extraordinary person among us.
