On September 23rd, at Krakus Senior Center part of the Polish and Slavic Center, we hosted another Open Mic – an event that has already become a favorite tradition in our community. It’s always a magical day when the stage belongs entirely to our seniors. This time the audience enjoyed beautiful and touching songs performed by our talented soloists, as well as group performances that had everyone singing along. There was also a humorous sketch that had the audience laughing out loud. The atmosphere was joyful and full of energy – a true celebration of creativity and togetherness. We also had a very special moment – we came together to thank Ms. Ola Watras for representing Krakus Senior Center so beautifully at the Talent is Timeless 2025 contest, organized by the Department of the Aging. Her performance was truly magical and filled us with pride. Ms. Ola, we are so proud of you! Thank you for the heart and soul you bring to every performance. For us, you will always be number ONE! It was a day full of joy, pride, and unforgettable moments. We can’t wait for the next edition of Open Mic, because we know Krakus Senior Center is full of amazing talents waiting to shine!
